Box in preparation of filling it with memorabilia/found objects
of your choice. These paper board boxes are perfect for adhering
paper, inks, paint, tissue tape and other embellishments to
create your own unique piece of art. Each Configurations Box
comes with a framed lid w/removable acetate window (feet as
shown on sample sold separately). Use the little compartments
in this box to display all kinds of treasures and found objects.

If
you have played around with an altered book or even if you are
a newbie, come play and pick up several fun techniques that
you can use! Learn how to add drawers, shadow boxes, and more
to your altered books. We will continue to explore ways to add
images and interesting elements to your pages. There will be
a lunch break between 12:00 and 1:00.
Please bring your basic toolbox, as well as: 1 small container
of Heavy Gel Medium (we recommend matte, not glossy); 2 1”-1.5”
paint brushes; any stamps or clip art (some ink jet printed
clip art also for the transparencies) that you want to incorporate
into your book; beads or elements; tapestry needle and 1 skein
of embroidery floss in a color you want to use; a book that
you have in process or one that you want to alter. If
your book is in process, make sure you have at least 1”
of unused pages. If you are a newbie, remember that for your
first book you will not want to get one that is too large; keep
it simple (no larger than about 6” x 8.5” and about
1” – 1.5” thick.
